Meet our "14" newest additions...............here are a few pictures of them

They are just too cute, the kids and their friends love them. We look forward to having fresh eggs again.

We've got a little work to do in the chicken coop in the barn before they are ready to move in there, will take a few pictures to share along the way.

here's a tiny little peek at a new design, don't  you just love vintage pink?! you know I do :)  I always gravitate towards it whenever I'm shopping fabrics!

Fleur L'enfant update:  My newest designs are heading out to models but I can't wait to share them all with you.  Thank you for being so patient.  Looking ahead I am speaking with manufacturers abroad and have recently hired a local sewing contractor!  That's why I've been so quiet and so busy.  It's been over 10 years since my business began and it's time to grow!

Here I am!!

I am back to blogging and sewing again.  Well, I have been sewing but just one big order since August. Thrilled I can begin some new designs and I am working harder than ever before to offer a much bigger selection of designs that are readymade. Of course, I'll still have some customs available but with the kids sports schedules, it's just not possible to offer as many.

We have had 60 inches of snow in just 30 days, mounds and mounds of it everywhere.  It's a good thing we love the stuff and love winter sports.

Here is a view of our side yard and barn after the snow. The snow covered pine in the center was our very first Christmas tree in this house. During the holidays we cover it in twinkling white lights.

Yesterday, yet another snow day. Decided to make the kids favorite breakfast while they were sledding outside. 

Pancakes and bacon, and lots of bacon!!!

My breakfast consisted of vanilla Chobani yogurt, fresh berries and a sprinkling of Fiber One cereal ~ yum!!! (in keeping with my resolution to get fit)  I tried convincing myself it WAS just as tasty as the bacon.

It's time to get back to my sewing, can't wait to share my new designs!!!

SuperBowl Champions

We are so proud of the Hanover Mites Football team! They recently one the Superbowl making it two years undefeated.  They have quite a schedule that begins in August and just ended mid-November.  They really are a team in every sense of the word and we miss our "football family" already.  Caleb loved having his dad as one of the assistant coaches. Congratulations Hanover!!!
